Size does not matter. Do you agree to this statement? When it comes to penis size, most guys don't agree despite the fact that science has proven that penis size is not an indication of sexual performance. Fact is, somewhere, in the dim psychological recesses between perception and reality, penis size does matter to men and even to some women. After all, it is human nature to associate larger penis size with increases sexual expertise. Even if a woman has no way of telling your size, the mere worry about how your partner will judge your endowment will affect your performance.
By and large, penis-size problem does not happen overnight to a man. It happens progressively and it may start as early as a young child who first spied his father's member. Compared to the toddler's tool, Dad was hung like a bear. Children do not adjust for scale and make the logical conclusion that adult member is larger. This initial perception may very likely stay with the child. Later at high school, when competition get intense in the locker room, the desire to add that extra inches can get reinforced. That's when things can become traumatic. At that age, there is so much intimidation, competition and teasing. Ultimately, it all boils down to self-esteem problem.
Statistics has shown that the average adult penis ranges from four to six inches erect. Length is defined by the distance from the tip all the way to the base of the pubic bone, where the shaft of the penis first emerges from the abdomen. Biologically, the penis only has to be long enough to penetrate and inseminate which just a couple of inches in erect state would do it. And as far as stimulating your partner goes, the most sensitive parts of the woman's anatomy are in the first third of vagina.
If there are cases where a penis is too short hence impeding sexual performance, it would be worth while to see an urologist to determine how to cope with this unusual situation.
